Spring 2017
It’s a beautiful day here in Devon, and things are starting to bloom, which makes me very happy! We have incredible anemones, the ranunculus are just starting to flower, and lots of narcissi, muscari, tulips and fritillaries are just round the corner. I’ll get back into posting more often soon, now I’ll have flowers to photograph again. In the meantime, here are some of the early flowers from the past few weeks…
Happy Christmas from Holly-Bee
December has been a whirlwind: along with markets and weddings we hosted our first ever workshop- making beautiful Christmas wreaths. It was such a fun and creative morning, and I was bowled over at the stunning end results! We loved hosting the workshop so much that we’re busy planning more for next year, using our beautiful garden flowers: keep your eyes peeled for further announcements…
We’ve also been making wreaths for some of our lovely customers- some of the results pictures below. I love doing them, completely absorbing and intricate, but lots of fun 🙂

Christmas Wreath Workshops
We’re thrilled to announce we’re holding our own Christmas Wreath workshops this year, based from our studio located in Dartington, Devon. Holly will demonstrate and then guide you through making your own beautiful wreath to celebrate the season. All materials and refreshments will be provided: a copper ring, moss, a selection of seasonal British foliage, berries and other winter treasures. You’ll also be let loose on our ribbon stash (think sumptuous velvets and grosgrains…) for the perfect finishing touch.

September Dahlias
Hello from Holly-Bee. It seems like an age since I last posted anything, so thought I would share some goings-on from our Devon flower garden. Summer has gone by in a blur (seriously we’ve no idea how it slipped by so quickly) and now we’re on our way to autumn, and winding the garden down. But for now we’ve still got lots of gorgeous seasonal flowers. The complete stars at this time of year are the Dahlias… Bolshie and showy, but with such charm and with such a variety to choose from; I feel like there is a dahlia to suit any taste or colour palette and I love them! I’ve tried to document the dahlias we’ve grown this year, noting down where I think there may be gaps in terms of colour or shapes, and create next year’s wish list already: keen. Below are some images of this year’s favourites (having looked over them there is a definite peach theme coming through!..
